I know we're not supposed to talk about the corona virus here but maybe some of you will read this before the moderators delete it.

The virus death toll here in Roswell increased by 2 yesterday,  One of them was my brother.  He tested positive last week an he died yesterday afternoon.  He was 84 years old and had underlying conditions so I knew when they told me he tested positive it would only be a matter of days.

When someone near and dear to you succumbs to the virus it ceases to be a debatable subject.  It becomes more serious than that.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

Sorry to hear about that.  A good friend of mine lost his mother to it a couple weeks ago.  She also had a lot of underlying conditions.

Noel: how sad to hear this, I am so sorry for the loss of your brother. I wish you the best during your time of grief.

Sorry about your brother Noel.  I'll leave the thread be as long as that--the loss of your brother--remains the topic...if it morphs into a Coronabug discussion it will go away.  That ground has already been plowed here, and we're not gonna do it again.

My condolences Noel, I lost my Grandmother to COVID early in the pandemic as well.  It really makes things hit home.
