Envshade/Tex work in new hotfix?

Recommended Posts

With EA on EnvShade does not modify anything that has to do with clouds, visibility or sky.

So tweaks for terrain, water, nightlighting, HDR etc do work.

Gerard, does Envshade has any effect when EA is activated, or does Envshade only make a difference when using P3D without EA?

What Envshade settings do you recommend?

You beat me to it.

I'd love to see your settings

Gerard-

Do you use EnvTex in the latest version of P3D?

Does it work well for clouds and skies?

Thanks,

Mark

I am using EnvTex with latest version of P3D and works great. I integrate it with ASCA and run with EA off as I hate the pixelation of the clouds. Works perfectly. EnvShade update for latest version is still being worked on.

well, it works with HF 1 as it did before in 5.1, though i wouldn´t say it´s not working. 😉

Same issue here

@GSalden can you show us your Settings?

Is this referring to bright mountains at sunset, ie. distant mountains are much brighter than those in the foreground? If so, I have the same issue (I too use Envshade) but haven’t yet found a solution. Is it acknowledged as an envshade problem?

@GSalden

Nice. Mine is much more brighter with Envshade and EA on. Maybe some shader conflicting. Can you show us how you tweaked envshade?

How do you get around the pixelated clouds in EA when looking at them from above? Looking out the front cockpit window is not bad but looking out the side windows of the cockpit, it looks really bad. Even with ASP3D controlling the cloud cfg file it is still very bad.
