This addon is fantastic. I almost take it for granted every time I fly because I forget all that ship traffic is an addon. Adds so much to the game.

Hello Pete.  Icebreakers?  Well I did see a little ship that made an introduction by the way of a joke!

But if you mean the ships that break into ice, then yes also!

Go to the bottom of page 3 of this thread and it tells you all of the types included.

It says Icebreakers!

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Has anyone figured out how to add this to P3dV5?  I see its compatible, but I am missing maybe the xml.

Has anyone else had terrific stuttering with this addon? I tried it the other day, and every few minutes (departing Gatwick) I'd get a period of 5-10 seconds of absolutely horrific slide show.  Pretty smooth otherwise.  Running a 5600x, 3090, 32GB ram and an NVME drive.

That will happen when it's converting the FSX model into something MSFS can read better. Once you've encountered most of the common ship models it will happen less

Oh brilliant, thanks.  I'll keep at it then.

Yeah, I found this when I kept removing it from my community folder then moving it back again.  Just leaving it in mt community folder and forgetting it made everything settle down.

Ah, so will using the addon linker to disable it mean it will have to convert the models all over again when re-enabled?

I'm not entirely sure.  That was my understanding, but I stand to be corrected if that is not the case.

no it doesnt do that, but ypou need to take out that other file too, and use the linker.

Isn't there an update planned just so that it no longer has to convert FSX models to MSFS ?

Would that avoid stuttering ?
