I think we are fine for the first batch, but we will be working on the second batch during the week and while we receive feedback and make corrections on the first. And then we need more, again....

Just a heads up,  I've been beta testing Henrik's Global Shipping Mod V2 for the last week.

Version 1 consisted of  models from the prior versions of FS.   In V2,  all of it's models and textures have been fully converted to MSFS 20's native format. 

I haven't seen Henrik around here in a while,  and I'm sure he is quite busy, so I'm taking the liberty to inform you all that the initial public release of Version 2 will released by Henrik this Saturday!

These ships look fantastic and I've noticed no substantial performance delta.  Really happy about this.

The initial release will not contain smoke or wake effects.   Henrik would like to include effects in this release,  but it would require additional man hours and he would rather get the pack released now because V1 has performance issues for everyone.  They will be added shortly after the initial release

Excellent, I'm going to hold off buying the Orbx packs and see how this develops. Looks great, one of the best examples of freeware to exist in the whole Flight Sim history as far as I am concerned.

If you check Orbx,  you can download their Channel Island vessels pack for free.   It should not conflict,  but will replace a handful of the default fs20 models with orbx models.    They have wake effects as well.

Will V2 require version V1 with the older FS models to still be present?

I wish ASOBO would fix the lake elevation bug.
