Considering the price of ray tacing cards, and we have seeing the specs of some pc's trying to run vulcan, doing ray tracing, unless it has a disable function, may loose laminar some customers, better lighting be far better option.

  Not really, if you choose carefully what to do with it and how much. ps5 uses what @mSparks posted or something similar yet uses ray tracing for indirect lights even with out ray tracing specific hardware.

Im a bad boy. Mods like to proof read my posts in case I accidentally on purpose use the dark side to make peoples heads explode.

Its genuinely safer for everyone that way. They have a thread about it pinned in the 2020 forum.
