I have uninstalled : content - scenery - client - client pro

Then I reinstalled the complete V5 HF 1.

The new VolumetricClouds.cfg with the new entries exist.

- - -

Other issues I came across :

- sometimes Clear weather does not work and fair weather appears as custom

- when using Fair weather and trying to set the cloud density slider to the left does not work

- - - -

And something that is not weather related :

- when saving a Situation as Default flight and trying to load it a next time a message appears that the Saved flight cannot be found

—> in Situation in the P3D.cfg file nothing is written about the new Saved/default flight

This was also with V5.0. I will try adding it manually

Yes try the above.

One warning though, it will consume lots of VRAM.. Only do it if your GPU has 12GB or more.

Simbol

are you referring to this

How do I run the delete generated files command??

I have not seen a cloud for months..even deleting the volumetric clouds cfg the new one was just the same..

I have forgotten what clouds look like in the sim...

Can anybody help?I run Envirtex and ASCA and REX SkyForce..

I do...but I didn't know about deleting VolumetricClouds. However once I got SF and made integration in Envtex I finaly get several layers, proper sizes and much better than before...No EA though. So I am not sure what I am doing right or wrong....🤥

Why is there always this guy? Not helpful. How about "yes, I'm pretty certain that's what he was referring to"? And it maybe wasn't that obvious as the two posts above the one in question offered solutions that could have resulted in higher VRAM usage.

Same problem here. Active Sky - most current version. v5.2 w/ HF.

The METAR out of VHHX today was showing multiple layers of clouds but the sky were clear. After I opened up the sim "option" tab and closed it, the clouds loaded.

This has been happening on many occasions. For me, it does not matter if EA is on/off.

Thanks.
