Does anybody know how to merge two aircraft?

Recommended Posts

Hello all. I am using the Wilco Airsimmer merge by Diego and he was only able to merge the CFM variant of the A320. well we're good friends but He cannot recall much of how he merged the two, only that the IAE model he was given was corrupt and unusable. well 5 years later I have a working IAE model from the Airsimmer and would like to add it to the merge but I'm unsure of how to do it. do you have any ideas or know how? in his CFM model the VC still works for the most part with most buttons clickable. I would like the IAE to be the same.

As far as my experience goes, merging two different aircraft models into the same folder requires that both texture sets have exactly the same names. Not only that but the contact point and light sections in their aircraft.cfgs must be exactly the same as well. If there is any difference anywhre then your only option is to set up both merge candidates separately in different folders, possibly with aliased panel and sound folders for either one of them.

Regards

Hans
