v5 EA recommended lighting settings

Recommended Posts

I am off my computer. But have a look at TOGA's announcement of the new version on their website. There is a screenshot of settings which I used. It may not be the only solution, but for me it works great.

can you give me a screenshot of your settings ? for envshade

thanks again

I'm away from my flight sim computer but I keep everything dead center on the settings for EnvShade except Aircraft Shadow Depth which all the way left (0.50) and select High Performance.

Every monitor/system is different, so you really have to just play with it. Small changes make big differences! It usually comes down to a less-than-perfect compromise between brightness outside and a panel that isn’t too dark. I posted one in tips and tricks... there’s a similar one here, so you have some starting points. I don’t think there’s any perfect setting for everyone (maybe not anyone). But one word: floodlights.

I can confirm their recommended settings really helped brighten up the cockpit, especially at night. Thanks for the heads up!
