Hello Pete,

That is a creation of a livery in the sim problem. PSXT does not get a response from simconnect about the result of a creation request. So PSXT does not know what to do. Just forget it.

Hello Nico,

thanks for your answere, but i have a airprort file for ETHL with that and other helicopters for static (it`s a military airport and no aircrafts in ADSB Live) and there it will be displayed.

thats strange

Yes but also static aircraft are created via simconnect just like live aircraft  there is no difference. .

Hello Nico,

I have to bring up this topic again.
I have on my home airfield (ETHL) is a pure military heliport, park positions with different helicopter types occupied.

so that the program does not confuse me the park positions I have the file write-protected.


Now to my question: after I have again and again this, "status ADDING2SIM, is hanging", and after a certain time the simulator has only 3 frames and no longer flyable exits,

I have deactivated in the program the option "extra aircraft options" helicopter. the sim no longer have problems with frames and i can fly the hole day.


When I come to ETHL  the helicopters are displayed! without an error message. i think its okay so for me. but why helicopters in flight make this error messages?

have we any changes to find this out? i am a helicopterfreak so far

Hello Nico,

this is a log file without the helicopter otion is marked.

I mate some tests with static helicopters in edds, but not all worked.

this morning i will test with the option helicopter is marked an send you then the log file .

Hi Peter,

I could indeed reproduce the ADDING will stay messages over here. The problem with the EC35 helicopters is that PSXT does not get a mesaage back after creating a helicopter livery in the Sim. Although the livery is visible, the status in PSXT remains ADDING2SIM, which holds everything up.

This problem does not occur with the B407 helicopter which I sent you lately. When looking at the aircraft.cfg files of both types I discovered a difference between the two: In the B407 the Category=airplane, while for the EC35 the Category=Helicopter. 

Thus if you change the Category in the aircraft.cfg file into airplane it will work!   (I've checked that)
