VR coming to everyone in Sim Update #2

Recommended Posts

So for us non-testers we'll get it in the December Sim Update, according to the Live Stream this will be for all HMDs not solely WMR (Good news all round). Apparently the feedback from testers has been so good they just want to release it too us, lovely

Looking forward to it.  I don't really have a good screen, only VR, for my simming so have been waiting to fly msfs2020.

I did try it the other day with opentrack and virtual desktop.  Looks much better watching peoples screen recordings than it actually is ding it this way.

I saw a couple 3090 available on Newegg.ca for 3250 and 3700 Cdn today but did not bite as too expensive still, RIPPPOFF

December 22 then? OK, a week or two's time to see if RTX prices ease a little and then I'll have to pay whatever it takes.

So I'll be able to use my old Oculus Rift? It'll be interesting to see whether my specs can cope (i5 6600, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1060 6GB). I suspect, realistically, it's going to need a new headset and an upgraded PC. The audio's gone on my Oculus anyway - probably a loose connection.
