Hi Dave, there is a big supply problem, up to 5 month wait time just to get the yoke, will it get better soon?

and sorry to hijack the topic

If you map the toggle switches for the magnetos, etc, on the Alpha then it causes an error where you can only increment the heading bug in 10 degree increments.

It's been like that since launch.

They even sent Honeycomb yokes to the YouTubers who they had promote the sim just before launch....

Dave, are you now with Honeycomb? If so the fact that you are unaware of the issue is a little concerning. It is not Honeycomb’s fault, but it is an issue that I think Honecomb in particular would like to see fixed expeditiously.

Yeah, exactly.

So, by reading the very first post we see the issue is correctly described as being an issue with MSFS, not with Honeycomb.  If it was a problem with our hardware then we'd see reports coming in from X-Plane, P3D and FSX users (AFS2 users as well).

It's important to understand how MSFS and other sims see hardware inputs, under the toggle system they use, and then understand the two manners used with hardware switches.  Our hardware was designed with what some people refer to as "On/On" switches instead of "On/Off".  The benefit of this is having two different switch positions cable of being read by the flight sim software instead of just a toggle (which can create it's own issues).

Though I came aboard Honeycomb well after the discussions with MS/Asobo, I'm told that MS/Asobo has acknowledged the issue and promised to resolve it.

Best wishes!

Careful at mind reading, you aren't good at it.  You are also really bad at interpreting signature graphics... 😉

Comment withdrawn. Snarkiness is counterproductive.

Personally if it were me I would ask that MS/Asobo defer releasing any "Partner" videos using my hardware until the hardware actually worked.

Is it really a Partnership, or just advertising for Microsoft?  If they haven't even been able to fix the hardware that was used for pre-release press in August?

I'd like it better if they partnered with someone that can actually sell you a product, instead of having just enough to give to YouTube influencers.

Well dodging legitimate questions is not a good sign, guess I will go with the VirtualFly yoke.

Supply issues aren’t limited to Honeycomb, just ask Nvidia and AMD...you know, global pandemic and all.
