A320 autopilot has been fixed!

Nice!!!

Makes you wonder though, how competent Aboso are at fixing problems like this when regular users have already found and eliminated the issues!

My believes that They care less about fidelity of systems compared to Scenery looks and Xbox compatibility.

But actually who fixed the issue is Asobo themselves, Sabstian the CEO of Asobo sent the fix to FBW folks to include it

If you had read through the github posting you will see that they thank Sebastian from ASOBO for his help.

Well those regular users were working on one single problem, while Asobo has hundreds to deal with.

Kinda like if you go out and fill the one pothole in front of your house, then determine that the highway department is incompetent because they did not fill it despite the fact that they have 120,000 potholes to fill.

the whole point of this, indeed we are in a good progress to have the company itself start working with the community directly. Perhaps @IcemanFBW can tell us how did it go? 🙂

LOL!!!

12k potholes to fill...  Sounds about right when comparing roadwork to the state of this sim currently!

Per title and guess who helped on fixing this issue openly working with FBW!

https://github.com/flybywiresim/a32nx/pull/2140

How about a direct link to that download?

From my understanding this is a temporary fix. Will these PID parameters work on other planes ?

It actually doesn't fix the broken PID for lateral heading, but changes some parameters so that it works with the broken PID.
