Using rain from EnvTex helps see it a bit better with EA on.

I think they should try to add things to enhance the sim world when it's raining like adding the rain drop effect to the aircraft windows or making it so the ground looks wet when it's raining.

Many aircraft already have a rain drop effect. Given that the location, size and shape of the glass areas of the aircraft are specific to each model, it is up to the aircraft developer to include this effect.

Ha! Even the RealAir Turbine Duke V2 has a rain effect in P3d5, as do some of the stock aircraft.
