Anyone thinking FSX gives good framerates ?

Yes, the sliders will bring you pre-FS9 visuals and features for FS9 performance, which seriously questions why one would buy the new title in the first place. As I've said before here, if I could set FSX up to run at least as well as FS9 with equivalent graphic and feature settings, then I would be happy, but 1/2 to 1/4 the FPS just ain't cutting it for me until the patch.Gary

Somebody send the link to tell_fs, this is a total joke.

Remember guys, FSX is made for future hardware so that means if you didn't buy the FSX Super Platinum Deluxe edition with included time machine you won't be able to use FSX in any decent form.

Really do you some of you think you need $5000.00 worth of computer to have fun with game software. Not if you buy any of the other titles listed in the comparison test. Just the FSX title that kills every personal computer known to man. :~P

FSX and great FPS got them here, and the part about it being cut down below FS9 to run well not on my computer and its old.:-roller Post like this are funny why because since when do game or hardware sites every get Flight Sims to work well. Let AVSIM review FSX on those machines and you will get the real story because they would at least put the Sim to the test on all the settings and post photos showing how it looked with each setting untill then its much to do about nothing. Still I see some of you will buy the hype that FSX cant do well unless every setting is maxed out and 800 AI planes for each Airport get real FS9 would die and catch your computer on fire if it could even approch FSX setting.:-xxrotflmao :-ukliam I have yet to see a screen shot with FS9 loaded down like FSX and great FPS seems like all the great screens leave that out for some reason.Just a little proof would go along way and we wont even call you namesor sheep if you can make FS9 better then FSX with a lot more FPS. And less money funny how you can spend hundreds on FS9 then attack some people who upgrade their computer because they have FSX.

I guess I should feel guilty for enjoying FSX so much. The ONLY reason I still have FS9 on my system is for developing AFCAD files for FSX (yep, AFCAD files will work in FSX) and for running Panel Designer so I can make some FS9 panels FSX compatible (yep, all the FSX panels I've moved into FS9 can be called up in Panel Designer).I thoroughly enjoyed FS9 but I'm very much enjoying it's replacement.

>Yes, the sliders will bring you pre-FS9 visuals and features>for FS9 performance, which seriously questions why one would>buy the new title in the first place. It would seem to reason, that if I was stuck with pre-FS9 visuals, with some FSX sliders to the left, then I'd stick with FS9 exclusivly. FS9 runs extemely well on my CPU, yet I prefer a lot of FSX visual "eye candy" so to speak. Not all, but a lot!L.Adamson

How about this then?

I hope you can pass some of them good panels along.:) Great news AFCAD files working.:-jumpy Some of my small airports are down to 2 or 3 planes.

Or these...All from FS9.

Hi All,At this point all of this back and forth is a waste of time and bandwidth. Users on both sides have stated their experiences, thoughts, and feelings, including ACES on a few occasions. There is enough information all over the place for anyone to read. There are fixes and files for those that wish.Yes, everyone has the right to voice, but after awhile it is the same people, posting the same stuff, getting the same responses back, and thread just keeps going and going and going. Many of us (including myself) should just copy and paste the same thing from one thread to another, because nothing ever changes! When there is new developments maybe that is the time to return to all of this.Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
