ACTIVESKY P3D released

Recommended Posts

Great.

Q: did HIFI ever have a online store?

I can't find where I bought it and it doesn't seem to be any of the retailers they list. Darn.

nm. I got it sorted. Quite the copy protection there Mr Hifi. I didn't have to do as much to get on-line banking going 😉

Simmarket has it already.

The update is pretty expensive I think. Sure, there's some work in it.

Does the Beta version continue to work or has it a expiration date? Is there a difference from RC4 to the finished product? The last beta lasted only 2 days 😉

I'm one of the guys never reading AGBs so my question, did HIFI promise a free transition? When starting the program, it connects everytime with them. They could unplug us anytime.

Now that AS has been brought up to speed with P3Dv5 I'm wondering what ASP3D + EA looks like compared to ASP3D + REX Skyforce3D.

He was asking about P3Dv4, which doesn't have Enhanced Atmospherics. I wanted to ask the same question: As a P3Dv4 user, I have bought ASP3D, because I am convinced that my money is well spent on products from HiFi. However, does ASP3D offer any significant improvements over the predecessor ASP4 for P3Dv4?  Playing around with the menus and the user interface, I couldn't find any difference in settings. I hope there are improvements; if not, I would feel ripped off, kind of...

There are other improvements made according to Hifi even for P3Dv4 without EA.Those improvements have not been made to the UI but more in weather depiction and accuracy within the sim itself.

I would look here for more info:https://hifisimtech.com/activesky-p3d-released/.

FWIW: For me, ASP3D with P3Dv5 was a noticeable difference vs what I saw in P3Dv4.5.

The question is, is the RC4 version the same as today released version?

Chewwy94 on his stream said that he bought the new version of AS (while he doesn't need to, because he participated in the Open beta), installed it and noticed that released version has the same number as RC4 version (7638).

Can someone confirm it?
