Working Title - CJ4 I cannot select WT CJ4 plane

Recommended Posts

Downloaded the CJ4 Zip.

I am FS2020 from MS Store. Installed FS2020 to my D:\FS2020 Directory.

Downloaded Zip to C:/Folder then Extracted the workingtitle-aircraft-cj4 Directory  to:

D:\WpSystem\S-1-5-21-3634275261-2556181592-2800277628-1004\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community

The plane does not show up under the Profile - My Hanger - F11 Change Aircraft List.

Can you help me?

Thanks ...................

It doesn't show up as different plane. Load default CJ and mod should be there!

1. Exit MSFS. Copy workingtitle-aircraft-cj4  folder inside \Community

2. Make sure that there is no workingtitle-aircraft-cj4 folder inside workingtitle-aircraft-cj4 folder (sometimes certain program create extra folder when unzip file)

3. Load MSFS again, select Asobo CJ4, go fly (mod should be already there )

4.  If you not sure if you have default version or mod version select  click on "PASS BRIEF" button and it should bring "passenger briefing  menu" to MFD

Note: most mod do not create another aircraft copy they modify default airplane

Thank you very, very much for your help. I followed your instructions but do not see the

       Working Title CJ4.

I displayed the Pass Brief and listened to all of the briefs but did not hear anything

       about the Working Title C4.

I might have to delete everything and reinstall FS2020 and the Working Title CJ4.

Note: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Below is some facts I was working on to help give you additional info.

Before I received your above post.

I have a Community Folder in D:\FS2020\Community and also  one in

    D:\WpSystem\S-1-5-21-3634275261-2556181592-2800277628-

        1004\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache

            \Packages\Community

I put the CJ4 Dir in both of them.

I can see two CJ4 planes in Content Manager.

One is ASOBO. One is Working Title.

I assume there are two planes that I can choose to fly.

I assume the Working Title will have a different paint scheme.

I have only one CJ4 in my Hangar. It identifies as the Textron Aviation Cessna Citation CJ4.

Maybe, I am flying the Working Title CJ4 and don't know it.

I was thinking that I would see something different.

I would recommend delete all CJ-4 (and liveries associated with it) from community folder and copy it again (fresh start). I have only one CJ-4 and it always was that way.

On the FMC hit IDX button then next page and if you see ABOUT click that and it will say Working Title and the version installed. If you have that you have the mod, if not, you don't have the mod.

Thanks cwburnett !

I pressed the dash to the left of About and there is nothing displayed under it.

Don't know why the Profile - Content Manager shows the Working Title CJ4 as

installed and as Custom Content (Version 7.3).

But not in Liveries (just Default showing the CJ4) or in My Hangar. Only 1 Jet.

I'm going to delete FS2020 and reinstall it.  (About 3 hours @234 Mbps)

But thanks anyway...................

And I forgot to say that I could not figure out anyway to ask for help

on the Working Title - discord.com (Github) site.

That is extremely possible. There is nothing in particular to say you are using the WT mod. The aircraft is improved but it does not have a sticker on the dash to say so. 🙂

Don't go uninstalling things and re-installing. You might end up breaking something that was working perfectly well. Check the changelog for the WT project and see if those changes are present in the sim. Most are under the hood and not obvious without doing some proper flying.

Well, I am back again. New motherboard installed and new FS2020 installed. (MS Store download)

Working Title CJ4 put in the Community folder (both):

D:\FS2020\Community

D:\WpSystem\S-1-5-21-1343579247-99307034-2151115153-1001\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community

The CJ4 in FS2020 is the default one, not the WT CJ4.

As in, when I press the IDX key, nothing happens.

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: (FIXED)

I reloaded the WT folder into the Community Folder

and it is now working.
