December 6, 20205 yr Nice video. Hoping for Rob's mod sometime! There's one thing from the video that I wish Asobo would have done a lot better. Most of the planes in MSFS don't slow down with idle or lowered power settings. The owner in that video was saying how pulling power in the DA62 is like applying speed brakes. December 6, 20205 yr When you look at the other pilot's with "twins" in the vblog world (310pilot, baron pilot, etc)....its both easy and sad to see that, anyone being honest knows about 80% of their hits to their vids and channels come directly from the "twins" that have nothing to do with aviation. Steveo just wants to "fly" a cool "twin"....however you want to take that. 😉 Watch the 1st 40 secs of these clips and tell me I'm wrong: (and ESPECIALLY the last 30 secs of the 2nd one, and AT 30 secs of the 2nd one....in that clip...you'll get to see how rough the runway surface is based on the "bounce factor")😆 Now before you label me an only fuddyduddy and say "How can you NOT like these excellent aviation vids?" He's a very well-versed professional pilot....he's just trying to be gracious to the very proud and boisterous owner and pretend how impressed he is with the aircraft. Wants to make the owner feel like he has a kid in the candy store with Steve'o, like he's never had a the chance to fly a brand new, super-snazzy aircraft before (cough, cough, the TMB 930?) 🙂 Will be interesting to see how many more hits this vid will get over his normal, excellent aviation-focused vids that we've come to expect from him? 🙄 Its world we live in..."Twins" to seem to sell well. I grew up a New Yorker and I thought his intensity was disturbing. I wouldn't want that kind of hyper energy next to me in a cockpit. Don't mean to throw an insult as he may be a very skilled pilot but he was definitely a bit overly energetic in that video. I've been following Steveo for a while and have great respect for his balance as a pilot and instructor.
