I leave you to interpret whether that refers to the 747 or P3D 😉

Early morning departure out of SFO for MEM.

Both!   I'm glad we have flightsim so the Queen can live on in our minds and hearts in our virtual world long after she's gone...and P3D is still a suburb sim, and the ONLY sim to fly her properly (in most cases...there is another sim far more accurate and combined with the proper graphics, is 2nd to none).

Great shot, and the Queen looks good in her nightgown...heck she looks good in any gown! 🙂

My next flight will be in the PMDG 747-400ERF from EGLL London Heathrow to EHAM Amsterdam Schiphol, so hopefully I can add some shots to the Queen Collection

I love takeoffs in 747’s with a very light load of fuel on short flights.  You can really get some impressive climb performance.

I once simulated a boneyard delivery flight in the 747 and it was only 2-3 hours with no payload...now THAT was a rocket ship!

Having said that it’s a hoot flying a fully loaded/heavy fuel load 747 watching the end of the runway fast approach as the aircraft lumbers toward Vr while wondering if you did your perf calculations correctly!

Does the 747 have a new ground handling model (like the 737NGXu)? If I increase the throttle on the taxiway, the aircraft does not start moving until around 27% power. However, if I turn the nosewheel before this happens, the plane starts to turn instantly. That does not seem right to me.
