Paris/LeBourget 2021 cancelled

Recommended Posts

For me it was one of those events that clearly signaled; it's the summer. Next show will be in 2023 at a date to be announced. This is not good for the aerospace industry.

Wow, skipping all the way to 2023 and not even considering 2022?

Le Bourget takes place every two years alternating with Farnborough in the UK.

Makes sense then, I didn’t know that.

Isn’t that a bit premature? If everything goes as planned with the vacines that are coming, we will hopefully be in a much better place next summer.

Considering that people from so many different parts of the world congregate at the Paris Air Show I can`t see how it can be pulled off. It`s was a great achievement that organisers did it even in the best of circumstances. There are a whole lot of moving parts inside LeBourget. There are now variables into it`s equation that are unknowns. I think that civil liability insurers refused to back it.

You said hopefully... I doubt that the organisers operate on "hopefully".

If the world was "definitely" sure about the situation, then the organisers would have gone ahead (probably! )
