December 13, 20205 yr Bienvenue en France! This flight will have to be divided into two parts, depending on how far we get in the first part. It is designed to visit 19 castles (Chateau) and five cities in the Loire Valley. We depart from St. Denis De L'Hotel (LFOZ) and visit Sully-Sur-Loire (picture above), the Château de Chambord, the Château de Meung-Sur-Loire, the City of Orléans, and the Château de Chateaudun before we land at Le Breuil (LFOQ). Next Points of Interest are the Château de Blois, Château de Cheverny, Château du Moulin, Château de Mountpoupon and the Château de Chenonceau. We land at Dierre (LFEF) to get a little break before we continue. Next up are the Château d'Amboise, the City of Tours and the Château de Villandry. The next stop is the airport Sorigny (LFEN). This could be a final stop for the first part. But let's see how it goes. Next are the Château de Loches, the Château de Rivau and the Forteresse royale de Chinon. We land at St. Florent (LFOD), but on final to RWY 28 we overfly the Château de Saumur. After visiting the Château de Brissac and overflying the City of Angers, we land at Ancenis (LFFI). With the Château de la Turmeliere and the Château de Bretesche we see the last two Château of this tour. We land at La Baule-Escoublac (LFRE) and overfly Saint-Nazaire and the well known bridge and the City of Nantes before reach the last airport, Nantes/Atlantique (LFRS). The flight plan and a pilots guide can be found here. At least the first part of this flight is ideal for a slow GA plane. The Robin would be perfect, as well as the C-152 or the C-172. Also the Ultra Lights are suitable. I will probably be in the Pipistrel. Please fly what you like. To enjoy the beauty of the many different Château, you will need at least the Megapack Loire Castle. Additionally, there is the Château de Cheverny, which is not included in the Megapack. For the Cities we overfly, there are downloads for: The City of Tours The City of Orléans The City of Angers The City of Nantes The Bridge of St. Nazaire The Airport of La Baule I suggest to turn off the Fall Season Addon, it doesn't look too good in France. Recommend Sim Departure time of 10:00PM local. Date and time: Wednesday Dec 16, 2020. 1900 UTC Voice Communication: RTWR Teamspeak Update for Wednesday December 30 please see below! Regards Gunter Schneider
December 13, 20205 yr Monsieur, vous voulez sûrement dire 10h? The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA

December 27, 20205 yr Author Part II of this flight will depart from Sorigny (LFEN), where we parked our planes at the end of the first part. We will follow the flight as laid out in the pilot's guide until we depart from the Château de la Turmeliere. I changed the route to overfly the City of Nantes first and then land at Nantes (LFRS). After departure we fly towards the Bridge of St. Nazaire and land at La Baule (LFRE). From here we head north, visit the Château Bretesche, and land at St. Jacques (LFRN). After 34 miles we overfly the airport of Saint Malo (LFRD) and visit the city's old town. The next point of interest is the island/cathedral Le Mont- Saint-Michel, which is very well depicted in MSFS! The flight will end at Granville (LFRF). The new flight plans are availble here. The second part has 300 miles and 5 landings, so we can take the Ultra Lights again. I will be in the Piaggio P-149 with the D-EHVO livey (same cruise speed as the Pipistrel), please fly what you like. In addition to the addons linked in the first post, I recommend to download the Old Town of Saint Malo, available here. Recommend Sim Departure time of 10:00PM local. Date and time: Wednesday Dec 30, 2020. 1900 UTC Voice Communication: RTWR Teamspeak Regards Gunter Schneider
December 30, 20205 yr Ah, a classic of France. The P.149 F-AZKD is a real-world livery by Jan Kees Blom. At the moment, it appears that the P.149 will not "show" in multiplayer. Hmm. --Mike MacKuen
