Just bought this, and wondering how others have found the performance aspect?

I was enjoying 4k 50fps in virtually every other aircraft in my hangar in 5.1, but the 350i tops out at 30fps, maxing core0 of my 10850K... 😕

Shame, as I was hoping it would be fairly performance friendly. (Yes I know I can reduce some settings, it is the relative performance of the a/c compared with others when running the same sim settings that I am interested in.)

That perf sounds about right based on my experience. I shelved the KA months ago. Between the insane VRAM usage, insistence on using broken TrueLight DLLs,  and low FPS, it's not a fun experience at all.  

Oh I don't know, I was hoping to get the 50fps in it, but 30 was ok and fairly smooth, although a little too close to the top end of my performance for true comfort!

Didn't have a vRAM problem at all, but I did deactivate Trueglass to avoid CTD and DXGI problems.  Hopefully TFDI can sort that in time.

I wonder if there's something about the way its coded, but CPU use seems to scale with vsynced refresh rate - not something I've noticed with other complex a/c - maybe its just me?

Try the lower resolution texture install? 

Fail, now I am still getting DXGI HUNG errors every time I try to start this aircraft

@Rob_Ainscough did you have any success with this in 5.1?

existing products & P3D v5 unfortunately is at the very very bottom of their priority list I doubt we'll see much improvement over the next year..

I'm only running at 1080p but no performance issues for me.  I do find it to be a huge VRAM consumer (more than PMDG 737, highest in my hanger, actually), and the deselecting the high-res option only saves about 0.1mb VRAM for me.  I love it though, I just can't fly it out of LatinVFR addons which are also high VRAM consumers.

They did say that explicitly in the stream.

Sadly, unless there's a fix identified for why this doesn't work, I'm done with MV.  My P3D purchases will stay rigidly bound to Devs who develop scenery in Europe for v5, and who at least try to exploit and leverage some of the available features.

I get 30fps on my rather humble system, so I am quite happy with the 350i in P3D 5.1.

Can the trueglass.dll be active at all with the KA in 5.1?   Or is it pretty much a no-go with everyone?

I am having great performance with this aircraft.  It is so nice and complex at the same time.  I wish the documents were like PMDG tutorials but they have amazing video tutorial.  So much is in the plane....just wow.

Lol.Im jealous 🙂 Just want it to work for me...

EDIT:Just tried this morning after enabling GPUcrashreporting and it flew perfectly - no crashes at all 😄

The Milviz king air is one of my very favourite planes. Try using the lower res  textures that come with it(at work right now so I can’t really tell you how), make sure it’s the latest version. I fly only in VR at fairly high settings and I seldom get any v-ram issues. Turn things down a little, it’s worth it. This plane is on par with anything out there including PMDG Leonardi’s MadDog and any thing A2A. Once you get it working you’ll love it.
