Here's the thing... if we wan't a Moon base, or a Mars base, nuclear power is going to be pretty much essential. And something Iike NASA's excellent Kilopwer reactor has no nuclear weapon capability associated with it.

Influence takes on many forms. There is overt interference in the internal affairs of other countries and there are the less obvious ways to achieve influence. An example of the first might be to send troops and an example of the second might be to send financial aid to build essential infrastructure.. The perspective of what is happening from inside one of the countries involved in either method of attempting to exert influence may not be the same as the perspective from outside that country, especially if in one of the affected countries.

Just so long as when anyone has a press conference about it, they don't start butchering the word 'nuclear', by adding numerous additional syllables into the middle of the word so it ends up as 'new-queue-lee-ear' or some other cobblers. It's NEW-CLEAR for gawd's sake! It has two syllables.

That place in Russia where many of yours are aimed at, is Moss-co. But if you prefer flowers to guns and missiles, that thing you put them in, is a 'Vaarz'. And last but not least, there is no R in the middle Pasta, which is why it rhymes with Rasta. 🤣

Well a young Guernsey lady said the other day that I had a Birmingham accent. What! I'm from 7 miles further south! I'm posh for gods sake! It can't be. At first I thought  It was  either elocution lessons or suicide. Think I'll be okay though with a bit more effort.
