The particular poster said "no commercial product ever.." with no mention of MICROSOFT. I was pointing out that there have been commercial products, and there will be more in the future. And why worry about who can and can't do it anyway? We will have them one way or another, commercial, freeware or otherwise. It is already being developed. Some of those freeware developers have a lot more expertise than Microsoft or Asobo when it comes to AI traffic.

A fun gesture. And any case it probably didn't take them too long to knock them up, so rather than pointlessly bemoaning the 'lost man hours' in the making of them, why not just enjoy them or, if you prefer, just don't use them if you are not too keen on their appearance. What a miserable original post for someone to turn their nose up at a little seasonal bit of fun. I bet there are some relatives glad there's a lockdown preventing visits.
