OK, now that the GPS is fixed, how to you turn it on???? 

 

After wasting 20 minutes looking for on on off switch somewhere in the Arrow for the 530, I just rebooted the flight.  ##@##@

Now the landing gear is broken. I take off, retract the landing Gear, and that warning buzzer and light on t he panel comes on, and won't go out. Have to restart the entire flight. Who beta tested this patch?

If you forget to turn off something related to the autopilot before turning off the main autopilot, eg HDG knob, strange things can happen, just turning off autopilot doesn't seem to disable everything related to it.

I got some icing now, but the airframe doesn't look like a snow cone. That's good.

Ouch. You know this seriously pushed me over the edge to NOT buy the Arrow? I am sure most here won't understand that but it's little things like this that totally ruin it for me. The default planes all look really awesome and I personally can't stand anything less, specially not if it costs me around 40 to 50 euro's. My loss, I know, but it's MY loss LOL so don't get hung up about it. 😉 I am very happy with the C172 steam gauges and I will wait for the next best thing. No problems. No hurry.

I suppose that could be an issue with a 4K screen.

Though you do get things like the Golden Age Sportswing which was a unique aircraft with a lot of features that was taken off the market because of massive rants by some 4K people when the aircraft was actually OK at 1440 and 1080p. Not brilliant mind you but not awful either.

Yeah, sorry about that…! It’s a beautiful aircraft and some of the textures really are incredible, particularly around the gauges and outside. It’s nice to fly and the attention to systems is very good. I just hope we’ll get an update to the textures and then for me it’ll be the ultimate GA aircraft 🙂

It's not really the textures on the A pillar which I think are a bit iffy, its the amount of curves in the polygon for the pillar itself which I think are a bit below par. I know you want to keep the polygon count down, but for something which is in view a lot of the time, I'd have been inclined to go for modeling a bit of a smoother curve on that part if I'd have been making it.

If Carenado can manage that on their PA-28 without the FPS tanking, then it seems a bit of a poor modeling decision to me and it's that which jumps out at me more than the texture resolution. I'd not let it put me off the thing, because it's superior in almost every other way, but I can't say it didn't stand out to me when checking out the VC for the first time.

I haven't find this option. I was expecting the altimeter would indicate both  (prefered solution) but it's not the case and I'm not seeing the option in the EFB.

I think it just means the baro now displays whatever you set as default for the sim itself in the main menus.

I have found these three bugs with the latest patch.

-Whiskey Compass Stuck at N.

-GNS 530 sometimes Power Off when BAT On.

- Landing gear sometimes unresponsive.

I guess devs are well aware of them. Odd that they went unnoticed or even introduced after a patch as they were working perfectly fine before.

To be fair, that is a sim bug, not an Arrow bug.

The GNS 530 in the Mooney does the same thing.

Just flew into KJST from KDCA.  I landed with about a 40 degree crosswind at 9 knots, and when I touched down, the Arrow felt like a jet with autobrakes, I came to a stop in about 100 feet. I thought, that was different. Then when ATC gave me parking instructions, I throttled up to taxi, and the Arrow wouldn't move. The parking brake was on, when I landed . My fault.!!    I  had hit the wrong button on approach. 

How do you turn the 530 off in the PA-27, it just comes on with BATT? enlighted me 🙂
