How to place comment within <script> ... </script>

Recommended Posts

I am working on some xml-gauges. This gauge contains a <script> section.

Is it possible to place a comment within that section?

Something like   <script>  ....   <!--  comment -->  ... </script>  does not work?

Then how to comment?

Sorry ... wrong section ... but how to delete it or  move it elswere?

I use either Notepad++ or Komodo Edit when writing my XML gauges. What I do is just write the text, select it and then Edit>Comment (or something like that).

Just report your own post. I mean, press the "Report post" link in the upper right part of your post. It will ask for a reason and then you can write there your request to move. Then this request will be forwarded automatically to the moderators.

What I do is place the comment after the </closing> tag:

<String>%((L:Avanti_ECS_CockpitTemp,number) int)%!d!</String> <!-- 22 -->
