December 28, 20205 yr Do any MSFS aircraft now support Waypoint Altitudes or Speeds or Flap Positions? I haven't found a way on any default aircraft to successfully select a desired altitude at a designated Waypoint. Is it currently possible? The default planes have poorly-working versions of VNAV. The best we have right now is the CJ4 mod by Working Title - they created their own original autopilot system with fully-functioning VNAV on descent. https://github.com/Working-Title-MSFS-Mods/fspackages
December 28, 20205 yr I agree, the Working Title CJ4 is the one to fly if you want - within the sim's limitations - properly working vnav.
December 28, 20205 yr You mean we have to work the yoke, trim and the throttle to fly our planes, and we actually need to monitor the instruments? Oh the horror. 🤣 Joking aside, if the sim's avionics has these functions, I agree that they should work, but it's not really a deal-breaker that we have to fly the thing to these FLs ourselves. Hopefully they'll get on it, after all, they do seem to have sorted out the autopilot's previously tectonic heading capture behaviour in the last patch.
