Way OT--Anyone with Call of Duty2

Recommended Posts

has anyone been able to get this game to run with any decent clarity at any decent frame rate?I'm running a 256 ATI 9800 XT Pro, 2gb dual channel sdram, and a 3.2 ht...LOL and even when I dumb down everything it still runs to choppy for game play.

This'll probably get moved, but I'll answer anyway. Are you talking about Call of Duty version 1 or 2, Jeff? I've had no problem with either of them, and am currenly in the middle of a CoD2 campaign. From your specs it ought to work just fine. Message me if you want and we can troubleshoot it.thanks,

Jeff,I played through the campaign using 1280x1024 and all effects basically maxed out. At times it could be a bit sloppy but that was after having played it for several hours straight - so a reboot usually fixed it. But usually I had great fluidity and I just love that series! :)

Thanks guys, I fixed it. you'll never guess. You can revert the game itself in the options panel back to DX7. Perfecto! Turn all your options back up and you can play smoothly.I would have never guessed it in million years...lol.
