Honeycomb Bravo shipping

Recommended Posts

My Bravo Throttle was shipped on Dec. 24. According to the tracking, it made it's way to Lantau Island in Hong Kong the first day, and has been sitting there ever since.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Is this normal?

Thanks,

Russ

I don't know. But my VKB (made and shipped in China) controller came in 3 days (they only use FEDEX because they say all other carriers have been very very slow during the last year). Anyone buying from China should chose Fedex these days.

Mine is doing the same. I’m hoping with one New Years behind us, they’ll get moving again. It’s a few weeks before the Chinese New Year, but things grind to a halt around that time for sure. I’m not sure how much things slow down in China over the Christmas/New Year week, but expect that’s also fairly significant.

In response to above, the Honeycomb units are being shipped by FedEx

Mine was shipped from Aerosoft on 17 December 2020 and has been sitting at IPZ Frankfurt since 22 December. The carrier is DHL. Apparently due to Covid lockdown.

My Bravo is coming from week 5 production scheduled to ship this past week and I have heard nothing so far.  I note that they opened orders back up for week 5 production.  I have closely followed covid-19 stats since last March and either China has no significant covid-19 issues or China has not/is not being truthful.  That to say the least!

Based on tracking, my week 4 shipped December 23 as planned, but I didn’t get an email saying it had shipped until Dec. 27. So it’s plausible it could be on the way as expected.

Thank you.  Comforting.  High anticipations after my now 13 month experience with the Alpha yoke.

It's normal. Mine also shipped the 23rd and tracking says it's still at Landau Island. Researching a bit more I find that is normal when the item is in transit. Plugging the tracking # into the fedex website and drilling down to the transit status it indicates that my ship, ment is scheduled for delivery January 6.  I doubt that since I've had  no oinfo but that is what it says.

We shall see,  🙂

Mine has started moving again.  Hopefully all of yours have as well.  Overnight it passed through Chek Lap Kok, HK and Ta Yuan, TW.  It hasn't updated yet, but it looks like it may have been on FDX5986 and leaving PANC now.  Or it's still at the airport in Asia, but I wouldn't think the in transit would have show Chek Lap Kok and an hour later Ta Yuan if it wasn't cruising on an airplane.

Mine is now moving just like yours. Guess we're on the same plane?

Once it gets into the US the delivery will be quick!  Mine was also in Hong Kong 2 days ago where it sat for about a week.  Just got notice it is out for delivery today ( East Coast US) although original estimate was Jan 11th.  I got lucky as a window opened around 12/22 for additional orders through Honeycomb for week 5.  I was able to order within about 5 minutes of getting the email since I missed the first opportunity early in the year. Looking forward to replacing my aging Saitek throttle!
