MCE info line at top of the screen (red line)

Featured Replies

Hi,

I just change my monitor for a 4K tv, and the info line at the top is now showing half way under the P3d 5.1 menu bar. Is there a way to lower MCE info line?

Thanks

By info line, do you mean where spoken commands are shown? that's exactly where FPS and coordinates are displayed.

Press SHIFT+Z until you see FPS coordinates.

Speak a command and it should temporarily replace FPS and coordinates with spoken command, until it times out (about 3 seconds by default), at which point FPS, coordinates display again.

Yes that line of info, can I get MCE to show that line lower on screen. I am not sure why, but both the ALT-Z and MCE info are show under the top left menu bar. Actually it is showing half under the menu bar.

When I activate MCE using the addons menu, the first information that MCE shows on screen is a bit lower and perfectly placed.

That magenta text with green background is Simconnect text display.

We don't like using that to display spoken commands because it's shared with all Add-ons using Simconnect (PMDG countdown, GSX, ASN, etc.,..) and the messages are queued. There is no guarantee what you want to output to it will be shown immediately.

I think you should just hold ALT key for 2 seconds to see menu disappea and bring it up when you need it.
