LOL, you happy guy, I'm just getting 25.4 Gig, I have no idea why that happens.

I never encountered one of the download orgies others report. But I also keep my system (SIM) very clean and do not install any mods which go to deep into or modify any internal files.

But don't know if its just that ...

Update of 1GB here too, at very low speed. I thought something was wrong with my setup, glad to see I'm not alone.

These are the only folders modified by this 1GB patch.

There's too many modified files to go through (over 7000!), but from a quick glance it only modified scenery and nav .bgl files, the AIRIC Cycle BGL file and the default offline AI traffic bgl file.

The Microsoft-event folder is empty except for the layout and manifest json files.

I think the main confusion is that the update screen from the release notes of the last patch (1.12.13.0) is appearing again, which is not really needed. If Asobo makes a particular screen just for the Navdata update it should be a lot better and will not create any unnecessary confusion (that remembers me the KISS thing).

small update of 1Gb

Haven't times changed when a 1GB update is considered small 😁. I remember well in the Compuserve days downloading a 1MB file on a 14.4k modem that took forever!

Haven’t noticed an update, but the last time I booted up, the global nav chart was missing airports and nav points. Had to fidget around and reload screens to get them to show up again. First time for this. Vanilla install
