I just got my 3080 ROG, which I love, however, I am now doubting if I should have waited for the TI version...Why? Because of VRAM. I use about 9GB out of 10GB and I'm thinking that it's cutting it close with MSFS 2020. Do you guy think 10GB will be enough for now and the future? I'd love your thoughts. Thanks!

Yep, bad move on your part IMO. 3090 with 24 or 3080Ti with 20 is the smart, future proof way.

The ram in a 3080 is fast so it will be interesting to see how much difference more RAM actually makes.

Of course with the current shortage of 3080s you could probably resell your current one for what you paid for it if you are worried and get the upgraded one later.

Buying a 3090 isn't "smart," it's more of a "you have the money, hell yeah go for it" purchase. Even P3D won't use all of that VRAM, and if you crank up the settings enough to do so, you're going to get bad FPS and stutters anyway.

Ahh, the money we simmers keep spending for that butter smooth, high detail ultra experience we all want, but just never seem to quite get there. 🙂

After spending $1,900 Canadian for a 2080Ti, the most I've ever spent on a video card,  I think I am going to have to  keep it a while longer.

Precisely. Why I went for a 3090. Not often that I can afford top go all out on a build, but rarely I can this time.
