I lost my helicopter at the KMCO yesterday.

Recommended Posts

I never had this happen before. I was just testing my new system flying the R22 around some different sceneries to make sure everything was setup properly. I'm flying around KMCO and I land near one of the terminals. I popped into avatar mode (which I rarely do) and was just mesing around. I was going to use the GSX relocate function to reposition at the current gate. Well, I clicked one of the runways instead. Poof! the R22 was gone, and I was standing alone at the gate. I slewed the avatar around to all 8 runways and I never found it. I had to leave so I exited P3D without figuring out how to rejoin the two.

It was actually very fun slewing the avatar around the airport. I got to simulate the part from Pushing Tin out on the runway. I slewed the avatar to the numbers and let a few planes land over his head. He didn't get knocked over by the wake turbulence, though. I laughed quite a bit while this was going on. I didn't know it was possible, and then it became like a FPS shooter game running around the airport looking for a chopper to hop into. Would have been cool to find it, run over, hop in, and take off.
