A Humble Scenery Request

If some developer could create a lovely scenery of Portland Oregon and the surrounding area, I would pay you hard American currency for it.  

 

Portland is a fantastic town and a lot of fun to fly around.   It looks pretty junky right now.   

 

It has a fantastic payware airport already, so we're almost there!

Can you elaborate on what way it "looks junky" ? Do you have Bing turned on in your data settings ?

Sunken piers jetties and bridges as well. Particularly railway bridges.

Must be to do with water height and tides or something.

agreed, one of the better looking cities in the MS world, by the way there is a mod out for all the bridges in the area already.

the bridges are trash, the houses and buildings are melted.   piers jetties houses... upside down and melting.

I agree that the city should be redone with custom models. There are many cities that are popping up. You should consider putting a request to the city creators at flightsim.to.

There are many users who create or enhance for a cup of coffee.

I live in San Antonio, and it is very well presented with photogrammetry. Very fun to fly around, with KSAT and two military airfields  and some small airports. Missing a tower for the GA airport KSSF, but I hope to drop it in later. Dallas, on the other hand is pretty poor!

melted buildings are not working as expected.

 

that is usually a result of caching a bad download of the photogammetry
