AI_liveries.xml not found error 51

Recommended Posts

Hi, so I've done everything the tutorial recommended but where I'm stuck is while opening the actual psxt start.bat step; opens with the actual interface showing red colors on the no data side and also the liveries.xml isn't found. I've ran the AILgenerator and placed my traffic installation folder on the c drive but as I click change, save, and fix aircraft cfg, on the actual psxt prog nothing happens.

By the way, the ads-b doesn't do anything after I click on it, any thoughts? I'd love to get all this working. Someone help me! Gracias:)

From the Manual, error 51:

Check you liveries folder parameter, and/or create this file with AILGenerator.

You should fix this problem first, ADS-B connection takes place after you have connection with P3D/FSX.

Thanks for the quick response, what do you mean about liveries folder parameter? I am actually trying to generate the AIL via the AILgen but everytime I do, nothing gets done;bibdont even get a confirmation if everything went through

Did you read the AILG Manual?

The response is in the UI window, especially in the black area at the bottom. You shuld see how many valid liveries were found and were written to the AI_liveries.xml.   In PSXseeconTraffic you should have your liveries parameter pointed to the output folder of AILG, although that goes mostly automatic.

So give a path to a folder with your AI aircraft and push Go!

Here for instance a screenshot of my run.

I've done that but the information I don't get is the confirmation you have in the bottom. I got My Traffic  Profesional and the input I put is c:/my traffic proffesional/my traffic/aircraft and it doesn't do anything. Just shows me the number on the right of how many liveries it found but nothing of what you have on the bottom. When I get a chance I'll upload a pic.

Posting your Log.txt is easier and tells me all...

See this line:

Error 101: ptr to livery not available?

You ran into an internal problem in AIL, I''ll have to investigate.

Oke, I've made AIL more robust. Please re-download and re-install 9.2 and try again. Please report the outcome by posting the Log.txt.

Looks like you are still running the old version because you got the same error.

Did you really re-download and reinstall

Well tomorrow I will update AIL. You better wait for that.

Hi! So I finally was able to go through the setup but now I'm stuck with the psx not connecting to my fsx steam edition and also ads not connecting. Anything I can do to fix that?
