PSA: Today is the next Dev Q&A at 1830Z

Recommended Posts

Next world update in March will cover France, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg.

UK update will be out next week, no exact date yet, but the data problem they mentioned in the last dev update that delayed it has been solved.

Contrails coming in February with the sim update.

Nice. I was about to buy Orbx's Paris landmarks but now I think I'll wait, just in case they include photogrammetry for Paris.

They have no intent to curate the Marketplace.

Looking forward to that Riviera update (Cannes, Nice, etc).  Google objects isn't quite working out.  Maybe I need to get on the support forums and drive this one home...

Not sure if they saw my messages, I believe they said that someone on the team had double checked over all of the locations in the trailers to make sure they are properly masked in the UK update, and that's great news indeed. I will also personally check all of those locations and will update my thread if there is anything new.

They not mentioned any fix on the ugly water triangles creeping up the shores introduced with the US update 😞

Also no quick progres on multimonitor support.

Informative Q&A and alot covered.  Essentially if your bug or wish list is not rectified, then "its in the pipeline".

The live wx bug answer was a little disappointing.  The inconsistency is pretty obvious of getting great live wx beautifully represented, and the next time you fly, your in clear blue skies 15 degC 3kt wind only.   Although it was brought up this could be machine specific with how memory is flushed.

Lots of great stuff coming up  in the future.  Slow process, but it will be worth it.

They actually drove to a simmers house to try and replicate the issue...LOL.  At least they're dedicated.  No questions about that.😀

I have my beef with this team, but you can't not love Jorg, such a character. I'd have beer with him any day.
