New level of professionalism at PMDG

While for other people this might not come as a surprise I'm very disappointed to see this behavior from one of the PMDG employee or beta testers.

A while ago they had Kyle, if not mistaken either employee or part of the beta testers who was very disrespectful and fought with the customers just because they couldn't accept that there might be some bugs involved with the software or just because was an disagreement related to the product.

Now they have another individual  Marc Ehnle aka "Ephedrin" that is representing PMDG and is using foul language against the customer "It‘s hard to like your attitude. I don‘t know anything about yourself but it‘s the BS you leave here that causes the reaction/s"   ,  and this is just because the customer pointed out some issues related to the software.

As a paying customer I'm very offended by this, no matter what is the disagreement this is unacceptable and very unprofessional.

I'm looking at the other forums (Avsim, P3D, MSFS etc) and didn't see anything like this even there are heated discussions.

With this kind of behavior tolerated by PMDG over a disagreement with a customer I think that is better off spending the money somewhere else where we are valued and inputs are appreciated.

So the issue that I see is you had an issue with another individual, probably a misunderstanding but instead of reaching out to the other individual and trying to have an adult conversation to attempt to find some sort of resolution you came here and blasted it into the public domain.  Just my opinion but that is very poor.  If you have an issue with an individual it is usually best sorted by a private, calm, cool headed, non-emotional conversation, not running around telling everyone what happened and hoping they take "your side"

Handle it like an adult and speak to the person in question directly period.  If that's not enough reach out to the PMDG leadership team.  Your post here accomplishes less than nothing, it actually sets you back two steps....

Ive deleted my reply. Because Ive just read the OP's first post more carefully and realised he was talking about a beta tester. Beta testers aren't representatives of the company. If the OP has an issue with a forum member, beta tester or not beta tester, he should report the issue to PMDG or Avsim. If he has done that, perhaps he could clarify. But no, beta testers do not work for PMDG and they do not represent PMDG.

If being a Beta Tester make you complicit then all the MSFS Beta testers here should be worried for what was released as a final product, go into the MSFS forum and criticise it and see how soon you get jumped on after all we are told it`s the only sim that will survive in a few years. they even post on other sim forums telling us that.

If someone is standing in your store wearing a t-shirt with your logo on it and beating up customers, would a persuasive response to complaints be to say "well, he's not actually our employee, so don't look at us"?

A better analogy would be if he is wearing a Fan Club Volunteer T-shirt, and meaningfully helping lots of folks in the lobby out when that special someone comes along that can't be reasoned with or placated, and the aforementioned volunteer finally tells said malcontent that he's had enough.

I, for one, am capable of distinguishing between a helpful member of the fan club and an actual representative of the company.  Apparently some people aren't, and honestly, I don't think Randazzo is gonna lose a wink of sleep over them.

@killthespam

again here too: Not PMDG staff, no moderator, absolutely nothing else than you or someone else. with the exception of having had access to PMDG Global Flight Ops since June and a beta signature for that reason that I put there myself, everyone can do that.

If someone behaves like he wouldn't even dare in front of his parents and does that repeatedly just to cause a bad mood in the forum I will tell him off, as easy as it is. If he wonders why I will tell him the reason. I'm not entitled to do it nor do I have the order, I do that because I can't stand people who come in and accuse, insult and impute other people HE doesn't know of laziness or even intentional bad work.

Every custumer, you, me, other people, have the right to complain, even to flame around every day. But if you do that you should be aware that it can backfire on you. If you can't take that then think before you post.

if you - or someone else - has a problem with it, then tell me, I can deal with it or you. Even without using "foul language", if "BS" hurts you so much. It wouldn't hurt me, I can take what I can dish.. That guy who you (or others) fight for hasn't acted like a prima donna at least. He knows that he's acting terribly and won't get anywhere with the PMDG staff with that behaviour. If he hasn't known he does now.

And he hasn't run to avsim to cry and complain about bad bad Marc and PMDG.

BTW:

and this is just because the customer pointed out some issues related to the software.

If THAT would have been the reason I would be a really bad choice for a beta tester... believe me, I give PMDG a hard time too. lol. So maybe remain with the truth. That Julian hasn't posted so much that it would be impossible for you to look for what I meant in the forums.
