FPS drop every 10-15 seconds

Constant FPS drop to around 15FPS every 10-15 seconds. This happens even in the sim's main screen. I also noticed that the CPU usage drops to 10% when this happens. Any help would be appreciated

There's usually a fairly simple explanation for this.

Have you turned Cockpit Screen Refresh rate to LOW in Settings - if you're flying any airframe with Glass Avionics?

The Cockpit Screen Refresh rate is set to low. 

Reinstalling the sim fixed it. But it is back now. I didn't have this issue in the previous versions of MSFS.

If they are on, try turning off multiplayer and AI traffic.
