February 4, 20215 yr Hi, I have been experiencing this strange behavior. Every time, when I do a flight from EDDL to EDDK. Approximately, 10 min after takeoff, there is a lot of moisture condensed on the windshield. What is even worse is that the aircraft begins to descend even the throttle is at 100%. Anyone has similar experiences? February 4, 20215 yr I just looked at EDDL metar which reports +8C. Standard lapse rate ~-2C per 1000ft. So around 4000 ft or so expectation of freezing layer. What altitude did you cruise? Were the clouds by any chance? Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). February 4, 20215 yr That is easily answered - no airplane based in Duesseldorf wants to go to Koeln and will do anything to avoid that! 😂

February 4, 20215 yr I've never seen condensed moisture on the windscreen in MSFS. Are you sure it isn't ice? This time of year flying you really need to fly an aircraft with anti-icing system (not many GA have this) in Europe, or be able to stay away from clouds. The icing is perhaps overdone in MSFS, but it is a killer in real life as well. If I were a real pilot, I doubt I would risk a flight in an aircraft without anti-ice in the current weather conditions. February 8, 20215 yr Author I confirmed that it was icing problem when the aircraft entered into a cluster of cloud.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PS6efSWs6s&feature=youtu.be [email protected], ASUS TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI D4, Noctua NH-U12S, G.SKILL 32GB Kit F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC Trident Z Neo RGB DDR4 3600MHz, SanDisk Extreme Pro SSD 1TB, WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4TB, Inno3D RTX 4080Ti, Cooler Master V750 Gold 750W PSU, Win11 Pro, Dell 24" 2408WFP 1920x1200 30 , Fulcrum One Yoke, MFG Crosswind V2 rudder pedal, Saitek Throttle Quadrant, Logitech Cessna Trim Wheel, Saitek Multi Panel, DIY Cessna 172 Radio stack (via Arduino/MobiFlight), Air manager V5 on 10" 1920x1080 monitor
