d3d10warp.dll error with Aerosoft Airbus A319

Recommended Posts

Good afternoon,

I've had the above mentioned error happen twice now. Once was during a flight yesterday. The A319 was in the air on AP flying between VCBI and WMKL. I stepped away from the computer for a couple minutes. When I returned the sim had closed and I was back looking at my desktop. Second was this afternoon. I had just programed the MCDU and was waiting for the boarding process to finish (fuel, passengers, and cargo). Next thing I know P3D had closed. Upon checking the event viewer, I saw that it was the same error as yesterday: faulting module path: C:\windows\system32\d3d10warp\prepar3d.exe

I was able to fly multiple flights earlier this week and last with no issues. I was flying the 737 and didn't see this error turn up. This was my first flight with the Aribus in a few weeks. I have updated to the most recent version (v 1.4.2.0). I checked last night and I am pretty sure that I have the most recent version of DirectX installed and running (DirectX 12). I can't find a version to download as I think Windows updates this automatically now.

I am running P3D v4.5. I also had GSX and Chaseplane running in the background. I was at a default airport (VCBI). I have Active Sky running as well as UT2 for my traffic.

I have seen others having this issue, but it was with the A330. I understand that it isn't happening to everyone otherwise there would be more of us having this issue. Below please find the report from Aerosoft Version Info.

Thank you for your time.

Quick update. Not sure if I have solved the issue entirely, but I was able to fly a full 3+ hour flight this afternoon with no CTD. In the A318/319 configuration there is a box that, if checked, may need to be unchecked. The box is called: Force ECAM Software Rendering. I’ll try a couple more flight tomorrow to see if that fixed the issue.

Cheers,

colin
