After landing, flaps.

Recommended Posts

Hi,

This is probably something I am doing wrong: after the landing rollout I'm calling 'ok to clean up' and he does the flow, but doesn't retract the flaps...?

Also, how do I engage a mode to do base training? (Circuits)

Finally, with auto ignition he is setting the switch to cont for takeoff, the FCOM says this should be left in auto.

1. If FS2Crew thinks the runway is contaminated, the FO won't bring the flaps all the way up in case their is slush, etc, stuck in the flap tracks.

2. Please check the manual for circuits.

3. That depends on the options.  It depends if Auto is the selected option in your PMDG model.  Some PMDG models have an auto option, some don't.

Thanks, that makes sense re flaps - it's been icy!

I have auto selected in the PMDG options, but F/O is using cont still - is there something else I need do?

BBJ

He also seems to ignore the Aux tanks even if there is aux fuel.
