So far this is the only photo i've found but I still haven't found a link to it yet! searching all over!

If you can trace me that Malaysian livery, I would be so  grateful to you and stop flying the awful ASOBO 747 and 787 and fly only this 737 for sure. 🙂

Pretty sure the dev dropped a paintkit now with the direct download link. I dare say he is taking notes.

Bite your tongue!

I’ve yet to have one of those...

...how about until we can rip / defend Aerosoft for the CRJ!

btw, the new MSFS Aerosoft CRJ should be flying the the local skies in just about 2 weeks from right now.  You can take that to the bank.

Raymar, Raymar, Raymar. I too am looking forward to the CRJ from Aerosoft and that would take on its own thread with people whining about why they charged $60 bucks for it and niggly stuff that doesn't work like why the toilet doesn't flush by the  SJW "Legalese" team here. 🙂

I am really hoping I would live to see when PMDG released their aircrafts in year or two and what these silly people would have to pay for it. LOL 🙂 Looking forward to it. The review of this 737 on U tube started off saying how expensive the $20 was for the 737. HA HA.

Much better than what ASOBO did with their unfinished, unflyable hack job  they did on the  747 and 787

complete but finish them

They are finished. They never said they were going to be study level. They were fine for what they are.

Has anyone noticed the Airbus switches modelled... Lol behind the yoke they are Standard Airbus light switches....

Yup, those should be the same knobs as the ones for the wipers etc. All us aeroplane nerds will spot that stuff, but most people probably won't care, so it's incorrect but it's hardly a big deal on a 20 quid add-on, although I presume it would be easy to patch that with a quick copy-paste.

According to my calculations, those knobs qre 5 shades too light for certification by Boeing. And for that, I'm out.

I'm not an airliner fan, but I find this all very interesting, almost a marketing experiment in some sense. From what I read here, it seems we have a very popular airliner type, the B737, being released for MSFS, and on balance this release apparently is fun to fly and performs quite well given its low cost of about $23US. And given the many posts I've come across lamenting the lack of "decent" airliners for MSFS, and the reported number of MSFS users world wide, I can't help wondering ...

 - What the sales potential for this B737 MAX addon might be?

- And will the timing of this non-study level release impact the sales and price of more costly study-level airliners to come?

Finally, KUDOS to Chock and kaosfere for their professional contributions to this thread.

Given that, especially as others have stated the Typhoon IS on the marketplace and apparently similarly reuses assets with Microsoft's approval, I can't think of any reason to question this assertion.  I definitely appreciate the rapid (and reasonable) response from the developer.

This could be a new trend in addons: quick and dirty 3d base sold cheaply which the community can improve if they want.

I can understand how established devs might feel a bit threatened by this creeping Zibofication of the market (as can be seen on the XP forums), but I'm sure it's a net positive for them also if they want to differentiate on quality for the """""""hardcore simmers""""""".

The MSFS Marketplace versions are still encrypted, so only people who buy on SimMarket get to make any "improvements"
