737 MAX Released for MSFS 2020 at Simmarket

It is still wrong here, do you need pictures for proof? Just compare the nose wheel, the distance between the tire and the gear bay cover and the distance from the engine bottoms off the ground and you will instantly notice it.

There's no doubt it's wrong but the real one looks crazy on the ground as well.  No excusing this in this FS model and it should be improved just the same I have a hard time looking at the real thing taxing around compared to the cool looking NG series. It's like the F/A-18 E/F models.  I was in an F/A-18 squadron and at some point just build a new plane.  They killed off the F-14 and A6 just to have everything hinging on this one airframe.  This all goes back to one President is pro military and one is not and budgets get bounced around through administrations.  That being said the F/A-18 has run it's course and it's becoming a jack of all trades and master on none.  The 737 had a far worse outcome being squeezed to the last ounce of usefulness to keep up with Airbus and it shows by how it looks.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of this community, this addon now sits at #1 on simmarket. The Eurofighter Typhoon probably also got a boost and is now sitting at #5. Avsimmers always come through! 😄

I have only done one flight so far KPWM to KBOS, my standard quick test.

I found the plane fun to fly, it has a sluggish heavy feel. I like that.

It followed the AP fine and the approach to 04R was shot manually with help of the GS and Loc. They were right on. Once again it has a nice laggy feel that seems right for an airliner. I have never flown an airliner in real life, but I have a couple thousand hrs in GA singles and twins. It was easy to manage the approach w/o auto throttle. Keeping ref speed with trim and descent rate with throttles. Like I said very solid feel.

I like it, $23 well spent I would say. It will be great when some more liveries become available. The pop out screens are great on my 4 screen setup.

I would give it 4 out of 5 stars considering the age of the sim and the price of the model.

Sim on and be safe.

I wish comments on this forum were a bit more civilized and kind to developers. Constructive criticism is fine but knee jerk rudeness is bad IMHO.

What pop out screens? care to explain? Hmmmm...yu mean the FMC can be a 2D pop out and can be moved to another monitor?

This makes me think of the B1900D...it’s been said that the only reason it can fly is that it’s so ugly it gets repelled from the ground 😄

It’s a sad day in the flight simming world when an add-on with freeware graphics, gets a 4/5 score simply for being able to fly an approach.

Think I read somewhere there are about 2 Million MSFS simmers. So if 1 out of each 1000 simmers buys this a/c ( that's 0.1%) that's about 2000 sales. If the developer gets 70% of the $23US sale price (apparently SimMarket takes 30%), that's about $32,000US for the developer. Good for him (or her)!  And, this a/c alone could lead to more sales of the sim itself.

Very interesting.

To be fair, the highly acclaimed FBW A32N can't even fly a star right now, has half the proper fuel flow, and has a CoG fifty feet from its real life counterpart*. This is with several devs, not just one.

Credit where it's due right now.

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

I flew from KIAH (Houston) to KDFW (dallas) and I found these two issues

1) Holding line on enroute path. It tries to maintain the magenta line but it keeps doing S turns to track it not quite on the line. until its on approach, then it seems to hold the line as it gets closer to the airport

2) the speed tape om the PFD to the left shows 30-40 range when I know  the GS is higher than 250 kts... but like someone above mentioned it loses the A/T and becomes a Throttle runaway..so need to toggle the A/T get that back.

So far, these two issues. I have turned off the  747 mod and the A320 mod. thought that may have been the issue earlier.

Any of you experience these two issues?

and how do I communicate this back to the developer?

Maybe he had permission from Asobo?

I'm not saying he has, just that it might be possible.

Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Bravo Throttle. Thrustmaster TPR Pedals. Moza AB6 FFB Joystick, Pimax Crystal Light VR, Tobii Eye tracker, Steelseries Arctis 7+ Wireless Headphones.

Bought it - it’s pretty good.

The flight deck door seems to be missing, and the tape for the rudder trim is modeled on the EFB screen, but most everything else seems to be in place.

Flying from KJFK to PHNL and so far, seems to be following LNAV and VNAV just fine.

I know it's long, but maybe read the full thread before jumping in?    🙂    I already contacted the developer and confirmed that he did, which is supported by the fact that their Eurofighter similarly reuses assets and has been approved for sale in the Marketplace.

Pretty definitive,  he also stole models and textures from the TBM, Icon  A5 and 747-8i

https://ibb.co/sbPbsCQ

You're allowed to use textures at least... I mean that's how repaints work, it's not a whole new texture you edit the original.

There is his site but nothing about the 737 yet Bredok3D – Aircraft and Scenery

You bought it over Simmarket ? If so watch your Order there should be a E-Mail Adress from the Dev, i think he gets a lot of E-Mails at the moment..

The only thing that goes right now..

cheers 😉
