737 MAX Released for MSFS 2020 at Simmarket

You need to hold down (by default) your right alt key and then click on a screen.    (On international keyboards which have AltGr instead I'm not sure if it's any different).    It's an assignable function you can put on any key in the control manager.   If it doesn't work for you you might want to check that.  I've helped at least one person who managed to lose the mapping somehow.  I don't recall what it's called off the top of my head though.  I can verify later today.

Edit:  Looks like it's the same even if you have AltGr.   Good to know.

Double edit:  It's called "New UI Window Mode"

Yes, we give it  a 4 star/5 star cause for $23 bucks, we get more than Coronado gave us on their  GA 182 for $35. When PMDG come up with their and charges $150 for the aircrafts (Not sure what their price is going to be) we would expect a lot more for that money. Same goes for FSLabs and Aerosoft.

He was able to charge us only $23 cause he is leveraging existing asset. Smart fellow. I love it.  If and when someone gives  me an eye candy A380 using the assets already built in from the A320 and charges me $20 bucks, Even if its not all; like an FSLabs add on A380, I'll hail that a as a success too and buy it and fly it until FSLABS or Aerosoft produces a study level A380 in about 5 years. 🙂

A reviewer at Simmarket mentioned that the Squawk function was "INOP". Isn't it necessary for Pro-ATC or any other ATC program as well as for use on Vatsim?

I got the plane , happy to support despite the aweful external and cockpit graphics, poor sound quality etc... but it definately is a hit on frame rate, jerkier and less than the latest FBW mod, so as of now, it's a FAILURE .... "I am out" as they say on Shark Tank, but perhaps a mod will hit soon fixing it up.... so for $23 I don't feel too cheated

When it rains, it  pours. Liveries  are pouring in. 🙂 BTW. I get 25FPS

That Ryanair will do. I have flown on their regular 737s hundreds of times when I used to commute on one.

Thanks

CJ

i will rather fly my ngx pmdg, thank you for understanding!!!!

I wonder, if this had of been released for, let’s say P3D, how may people would actually of bought it and used it? And given it positive feedback.
I mean I personally wouldn’t purchase it, but that’s just me. To each their own.

Or if it had been freeware - how many people would be wanting to set up a PayPal account to give the developer money, but because he charged up front, the pitch forks came out?

Capitalists they’re the worse! 🥸🤣☺️

If he had charged $60-100$ for this I too would be out with the pitch fork. LOL  Capitalist or not. 🙂

The amount of work to even leverage existing assets and the ey candy of a 737 and  to make it reasonably  flyable 737 is talent worth paying for.

I even paid $10 via Paypal for the freeware dude who made VIDP (New Delh airporti) cause no one wants to make airports for India.

You’re preaching to the choir brother!

Can I get a witness?

AMEN!

Preach!!!

I was just being cheeky to show the irrationally reaction this release has received...

... and like I posted over at The MSFS forum, to remind everyone, “No publicity is bad publicity.” In both senses of that statement.

This.  I can assure you, if you wanted to do this yourself it would almost certainly take more than 2 hours 45 minutes, which is all you can get out of a person for $20 even at the current obscenely low US minimum wage.

Think I read somewhere there are about 2 Million MSFS simmers. So if 1 out of each 1000 simmers buys this a/c ( that's 0.1%) that's about 2000 sales. If the developer gets 70% of the $23US sale price (apparently SimMarket takes 30%), that's about $32,000US for the developer. Good for him (or her)!  And, this a/c alone could lead to more sales of the sim itself.

Enough money to keep investing into the project and fix the biggest issues including the ugly/missing textures. I hope this is just the start and they will keep updating it, shades of Zibo 737.
