Seems like the Auto pilots on all of the planes freak out, especially the 787 and 747.  The one I get a lot is on a return trip.  I will put in the airport I am at in FMS, the destination airport and departure and arrival info, and Take off the Auto pilot always has some failure in one of the areas.

Anyone else get this,  Generally the plane does fine from the world map, but not the return home from FMS input.

Anyoone notice this? 

I am not seeing a single AI 737. I know this cause my liveries are unique (for the most part) liveries i do not use on the A320. Almost all my AI's parked and active are from the A320, the 787 dreamliners or the generic ASOBO ones. 

can some disprove this? Not sure why the 737 are not being picked up as AIs. I already checked the aircraft.cfgs for each of the 737 livery folders and all of them have a 1 against the AI parameter. These 737 liveries could be used as AI.

Yup, it's a load of elitist claptrap. Anyone with an ounce of common sense knows a 20 quid add-on airliner is not going to be super-duper, and if there was an alternative to it, we'd possibly buy that, but since we can't, we're all just having some fun with this thing. You can't even get a round of drinks for what this thing costs and at the end of the day, it's fun to fly.

People who are slagging it off really need to unjam the pole out of their @ss and realise that MS did not make their new flight sim solely for people who will pay 150 quid for an add-on airliner; there's a reason why it's the top of the sales list at Simmarket, it's because people realise that whilst it isn't super-duper, it's still fun, and it's currently the only game in town.

What a douchebag. I bet this guy is a blast at parties.

Interestingly enough (or not), I bought a newspaper (The Times) the other day for probably the first time in about 40 years and there was an article in there about someone who'd left a fairly scathing and obviously dubious review about a law fim on Trustpilot. Bitching about a 200 GBP bill for something he didn't think was well handled. They sued him for defammation and it cost him about 25k in costs.

"I was going to buy this to check it out for myself but decided I didn't want to reward the developer" (or some such) in amongst repeated "don't buy this".

This is why I trust youtube about as much as I trust Sky or Fox News.

I don't think anyone is going to pay £150 for a 737 now. or indeed any other plane. Certainly not in over a year's time. By then we will have a whole series of airliners like this 737 Max.

Yup, he's cracking on that he's 'warning' people about how it's not fancy and that they should save their money like he's providing some kind of big-hearted essential service to them. What a condescending attitude to one's viewers; like they couldn't figure out that a 737 which is one eighth of the price of a PMDG airliner and made without the benefit of the SDK which PMDG is waiting for, is not going to be on par with it.

What's next? Is he going to alert us about the sky being blue?

I would like to get the plane. But would you like to know beforehand whether you can start the engines normally or only with CTRL-E?
Will there ever be updates to fix the errors that are still present?

Either way. The manual covers this. It's similar to how you start the real thing, if you want to do that, or if you prefer you can Control+E the thing.

Dunno about the updates, but my guess would be yes, because this thing has sold like hotcakes, so it would be in the interest of the developer to capitalise on that with some further good press concerning support. That'd be what I'd do in their shoes.

I have now seen two videos where it is claimed that the engine can only be started with CTRL E ...... I would like to start the engines normally. Are updates generally planned?

You can start cold and dark, and start the engines etc

Except for where all the switches relating to starting are jumbled and labeled weird such that the real procedure can't be followed.  But who cares if you can simulate a cold and dark starts in an addon for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Also the Sim market page is explicit that there is no manual.....  There may be some brief startup instructions in an install guide but certainly not s comprehensive manual....

What this thread has mostly taught me is that I can't trust the opinions of certain people here who will do nothing but defend add-ons that are thrown together junk and lower the bar for everything that will come afterward.
