I just downloaded 1.2 and tested.  The PFD is messed up.  The artificial horizon does not move so you can't get a feel for the aircraft nose attitude.  Hopefully it will get addressed soon.

Sincerely,

Dennis D. Müllert

Perhaps Sim Update 3 will fix that as the developers seem to have tested this on Sim Update 3 given the release notes.

the PFD is fine. I don't see any issue.

Hey Manny.  Seems like in version 1.2 the main PFD artificial horizon is messed up.  When you pull on the yoke, the center does not move up or down in relation to the earth - is hard to tell the aircraft attitude.  This issue did not happen before.  When you pull on the yoke, the PFD center dot should go to the blue area.  When you push on the yoke it should go down to the orange area, etc...  Take a look here...........http://www.flaps2approach.com/journal/tag/primary-flight-display

HMMMM - Yours seems to be working as it should.  I wonder what's going on.  Need to go dig and see if maybe some livery is causing trouble.  GRRR

Thanks for validating.

You mean mods on the 737 MAX or on the sim overall?  On the 737 MAX I only had liveries in the Community folder.  On the sim, I have a million things on my community folder.

Sincerely,

Dennis D. Müllert

You are not using the linker? by organizing in sub folders?

MODS only especially for the B787 or the 747 and for the A320 too. Don't  use any 737 mod. Maybe even the G1000 and G3000

If you r not using the Linker tool )I highly recommend you  use that and clean up and organize your self first).

First back up your community folder first and then start removing these mods until you figure out the offender.

OK fixed it.  It seems to have been the 787-9 enhancement file.  All these darn dependencies.

Updated version seems to fly okay for me. It's not really a massive update to be fair, apart from the inclusion of a few liveries, some overhead tweaks and a bit more stuff displaying on the PFDs, but it's still nice to see the developer flying in the face of the many disparaging suggestions from naysayers who were claiming they'd just take the money and run and we'd never see any updates.

So at least they are patching it and tweaking it, which is more than can be said for quite a few other developers and their products, including some who get praised to the skies by the very same people who were slamming the developer of this thing. It's still a cheap and cheerful add-on rather than a super-real one, but it does the job and I've definitely had my 20 quid's worth out of it. Looks great in the United States diplomatic livery incidentally.

Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

you speak in this weird "quid" language all the time, what are you a boat captain from Jaws?

That’s Quaid but never mind, I also paid 20 quid for it and had my 20 quids worth already.

Show me the way to go home

Excellent - Quid pro quo!
