I wanted to know how to synchronize the GTN 750 with the GTN

Recommended Posts

Hello! All right with you? I was wondering how I can synchronize the two GPS! Once you make a flight plan on the GTN750 the GTN650 picks up a copy of it. Thank you!

The Reality GNS 530W/430W V2 has the Cross-fill feature but it appears that the GTN units do not. The real GTN units will cross-fill but it has not been implemented yet with the Garmin trainers.

You could use a planning program such as Littlenavmap or Simbrief to create a flight plan. Save the plan as GFP and store in this location..

 C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Trainers\Databases\FPLN

From the GTN750 and the GTN650, you can load the same flight plan into each unit one at a time.

The problem is that the GTN database navpoints must match with the flight plan planner software. You could create a plan with the GTN and see if the nav points are available in the planner and adjust as required. If so, create the plan, export to the above directory and import into both GTN's.
