MSFS crash

Recommended Posts

Good evening!

MSFS crashes after 10 minutes in the game. I copied the error log:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Anything I can do?

Thanks!

Ingo

Hello,

the problem wasn´t PBE, but the changes that are being made in MSFS 2020 in the background. As I´ve read in many forums, more CTDs are happening across Europe, probably due to the upcoming update on Tuesday. Took me a while to find out. If I fly outside of Europe, there is no crash to desktop. The crashes seem to be related to the BING data format being changed.

Thanks for your help anyhow!

It seems your issue is exclusively related to NET Framework, and not by the sim CTDs that were happening one day ago, and that apparently was resolved already in the background by MS/Asobo (BING issue).

Cheers, Ed

Thanks, but I´m not having any trouble at all flying outside of Europe. And PBE is running great, too. But I ran the repair tool, anyway. Maybe it did solve any additonal problems I might have had.
