How to stop the logbook pop up in the a320

Featured Replies

So I figured out how to stop the logbook pop up when shutting off the engines.  This is for sure on the mod. I’m not sure if the default still does it as I haven’t used default since the mod came out. I was watching 320 Sim Pilot the other day and noticed it didn’t happen after he ended his stream so I went digging. Couldn’t figure it out. Then today was watching his TCA config video and in it he mentions he has a button bound to turn on Avionics Master 1 On. Otherwise his saitek switch panel doesn’t work.

Sure enough bound a key to On and one to Off and didn’t get the pop up until I shut it off after the engines had long spooled down. Makes sense since the GA aircraft don’t do it until you switch the avionics off. The A320 doesn’t have an avionics switch though so it never gets “turned on“. Now I’m off to figure out how to turn my honeycomb alpha switches into momentary contact ones via software so I can use them for this purpose without the 10 degree bug.
