February 17, 20215 yr Hello my fellow Canadians. I noticed there is more photogrammetry for some Canadian cities now in this update. For Vancouver, the photogrammetry was mostly limited to downtown Vancouver before this update. Now there is photogrammetry for the south of downtown. I also checked out east of downtown Vancouver and there is photogrammetry east of it too, but I don't think the photogrammetry made it up to Burnaby. For Edmonton, there has always been photogrammetry for downtown. But I noticed there is photogrammetry south of downtown, including University of Alberta. I checked Calgary and most of the photogrammetry was confined to downtown Calgary (you can see the line between photogrammetry and autogen in Calgary - for Memorial drive, it's a normal grey color for the road when there is photogrammetry, but when it turns to autogen, Memorial drive turns to a weird greenish color). All in all, this was a good update, at least for some Western Canadian cities. How has this update affected the photogrammetry of other Canadian cities? I have always had photogrammetry extend south and east of downtown Vancouver, even back in Alpha. It extends south to 16th Avenue (more in some locations) and east to Glen Drive. That is what I still see since the update. Are you seeing photogrammetry any further south or east than that? None of that area around West Broadway had photogrammetry prior to this update, if my memory is correct. The photogrammetry was limited to downtown Vancouver. And as you travel east of downtown, outside of it, approaching Commercial Drive, there is photogrammetry there too. There was no photogrammetry between Main street and Commercial Drive before this update but now there is (if my memory is accurate). In a nutshell, the areas for photogrammetry for Vancouver have expanded in this update. Edited February 18, 20215 yr by abrams_tank i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

Hmm, I don't recall much photogrammetry south of the Gransville street bridge or south of Cambie bridge before this update. There is now photogrammetry for West Broadway. From my recollection, it was limited to downtown Vancouver before. And there is photogrammetry between Main street and Commercial Drive now, something I didn't notice in the previous versions of MSFS. In any case, they still need more photogrammetry for Vancouver. Metro Vancouver is probably something like 15% photogrammetry, 85% autogen. Edited February 18, 20215 yr by abrams_tank i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM
February 18, 20215 yr I'm in Ottawa, way out in the 'burbs, and I've always been happy with the scenery. I can see my house and everything around me.
