MSFS Update 3 - 5 Awesome Hand made Airports

Featured Replies

I wish Orbx would concentrate in giving us more smaller GA airfields for the UK. I've got Wycombe (by Pilot Plus) for MSFS and I have all of them for xplane which is about a dozen of them. Orbx seem to be concentrating these days on the more larger airports.

Thats terrible. I wish the airport addons would stop adding landmarks or buildings in the surrounding areas. Thats a no go for me.

Trust me, those bridge models are very welcome in the P3D version of the airport when using ORBx TrueEarth GB Central. Not only is the Mersey Gateway bridge model better (and more accurately placed; yes, more accurately placed than an ORBx bridge in an ORBx scenery package), but the ORBx version of the Runcorn Rail Bridge is a pathetic wireframe model that looks about as much like the real world bridge as I look like Marilyn Monroe. Thankfully, the Digital Design version of the bridge is excellent.

This is not the first time that I have seen some pretty poorly rendered bridges in ORBx products. The Queensferry Crossing bridge model in TrueEarth GB North leaves a lot to be desired (I replaced it with the much better Scotflight model), and the Oakland Bay Bridge in TrueEarth Northern California is a weird twilight zone version of the real bridge (which is baffling, considering that the FTX Northern California model of this bridge looks very good).

Sorry for the off topic. Normal MSFS service can now be resumed
